It will be your responsibility to ensure you stay compliant for the duration of your commercial hemp farming license. Arkansas Department of Agriculture: Your primary source for information about the state’s industrial hemp program. The website contains important information regarding licensing requirements, state regulations, and more. Farmers can find supplemental forms, FAQs, and other resources for state regulations. Farmers will have to undergo a state background check in addition to submitting their grower application.
• 2021 Arkansas Hemp Grower Application: Applications are currently being accepted electronically via email. While applications are being accepted electronically, you’ll need to submit your application fee payment via mail. The 2021 application deadline is April 30, 2021, for new growers. Renewal applications must be submitted by April 2, 2021. Arkansas requires farmers to submit information regarding which CBD seed companies they are considering to use.
• ASP Criminal Background Check: Hemp farmers must pass a criminal background check when applying for their commercial licensing. Individuals applying for hemp licensing can access online criminal history records and also submit a manual request for a background check. • Arkansas Hemp Sampling Guidelines: The state provides comprehensive instructions on how to sample your hemp both pre- and post-harvest. • Arkansas Hemp Testing Guidelines: These guidelines detail the procedures required for determining hemp material compliance and disposal.
